Price of Flour Since 1890


    To find the growth factor in the price of flour since 1890 I found some interesting things about flour. The price of flour has risen since 1890 because we are using wheat in a lot of what we eat (including cookies). This has made the price of flour increase. Flour is becoming more expensive because of the higher demand for it. 
     I discovered that I don't need to look at all of the numbers (price of flour each year since 1890) to figure out how much flour has increased. If I need to, I can use the equation to find the price or amount of anything over a number of years. It does not require every number, only the beginning number and the last number to figure out the growth factor.
